Lite Talk

Lite Talk is The Jerusalem Post’s English-learning product, built on a simple formula: real conversation plus daily AI practice. The mobile app greets learners with a personal training plan and a streak to keep going — then offers two paths that reinforce each other: live online lessons with teachers, and AI exercises presented as a gamified journey map where levels unlock as you progress.

The AI practice covers listening, grammar, and speaking — from “complete the sentence” drills with visual scenes to voice-based exercises — tuned by level (beginner to advanced) and audience, including a dedicated children’s version. The learning loop is wrapped in product depth: lesson scheduling with a teacher-side dark-mode calendar, messages, notifications, payment and package selection, onboarding with interest mapping, and profile management.

Behind the app sits a complete admin backoffice: a dashboard with activity charts, student and teacher management, an AI-trainings catalog with per-exercise status control, home-page notification management, challenge creation for kids, teens, and adults, and blocked-content moderation.

The design language pairs the Jerusalem Post masthead with a warm red accent — a news brand translated into a playful, daily learning habit. Lite Talk turns learning English from a heavy commitment into a daily habit you enjoy coming back to.
